These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern use of the Job Portal application at jobs.tands.co.ke ("the Application"), operated by Tands (Nairobi, Kenya). By accessing or using the Application, you agree to these Terms.
The Application is a private tool for managing job applications. Access requires an administrator account created by the operator. Accounts are personal and may not be shared. The operator may suspend or remove accounts at their discretion.
You agree not to:
The Application integrates with Gmail via Google's OAuth 2.0 API. When you connect a Gmail account, you authorize the Application to send messages, create and update drafts, and read messages and drafts in that account for job-application purposes. You may revoke this authorization at any time from your Google Account permissions page or by disconnecting the account within the Application. Use of Gmail remains subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. The Application complies with Google's API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
The Application processes job postings from third-party websites and uses an external AI service to help generate application materials. We do not control third-party websites or services and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. Job postings are processed for personal application purposes only.
Cover letters and related materials are generated with AI assistance. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before it is sent. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated material, and you accept responsibility for its use.
Outbound application emails may include a small tracking image that records when a recipient opens the message. This feature is used solely to measure application response rates.
The Application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. It may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the Application, including lost job opportunities, misdirected emails, or data loss.
You may stop using the Application at any time. The operator may terminate or suspend access immediately for violation of these Terms, including sending spam or unauthorized use of the Gmail integration.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
